My name is Dawin Sichimba and I am one of the beneficiaries of your sponsorships. I am very grateful for offering me your sponsorship which saw me complete my medical school and graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.

I achieved my dream to be a Medical Doctor because you came to my aid at the time I needed you most. Each time I see a post of another brother or sister who has been offered your scholarship I am filled with so much joy because I know how much they needed it and how much impact it will have in their lives just like it did on mine.

I so grateful for accepting my application and giving me an opportunity to unleash my potential. At the
time when I thought I was losing hope and my dreams were shuttering, you gave me a reason to hope
again and live my dreams through this sponsorship.

I am honestly short of words but at the same time I am inspired by this gesture from ZIKOMO. I am
inspired to one day do the same to another person that will be in such a need so as to give them a hope
and opportunity to fulfil their dreams like ZIKOMO has done for me. For me this is not just about me but
also for those that I may be destined to help in the future because without this it would be hard to
achieve my dreams and help others in future.

Thank you for believing in me and my dreams. Receiving this sponsorship from ZIKOMO has
encouraged me to worker harder and pursue my dreams even more. I am forever grateful and thank you

Liebe Zikomos,

Ich bin so dankbar, dass meine Bewerbung angenommen wurde und man mir die Möglichkeit gibt, mein Potenzial zu entfalten. Als ich damals dachte, dass ich die Hoffnung verlieren und meine Träume platzen würden, habt ihr mir wieder Mut gemacht, meine Träume mithilfe eurer Förderung zu verwirklichen.

Ehrlich gesagt fehlen mir ein bisschen die Worte, aber gleichzeitig inspiriert mich die Geste von ZIKOMO ungemein. Ich bin inspiriert, dass ich eines Tages auch in der Situation sein werde, jemandem der bedürftig ist, zu helfen und derjenigen Person Hoffnung zu geben, sodass sie ihre Träume verwirklichen kann. Für mich gehts es um mehr als nur meine Person, für mich geht es auch um diejenigen, denen ich bestimmt bin, zukünftig zu helfen. Meiner Meinung nach kann ich meine Träume nur verwirklichen, indem ich anderen in Zukunft unter die Arme greife.

Danke, dass ihr an mich und meine Träume glaubt. Diese Förderung hat mir Mut gegeben noch härter zu arbeiten und meine Träume noch mehr zu verfolgen. Ich bin euch auf ewig dankbar – danke, dass ihr mich in die Familie von ZIKOMO aufgenommen habt.
