may I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to ZIKOMO Organization and its proud members and donors for giving me this opportunity to accomplish my goals in the educational grounds by awarding me the Zikomo Association Scholarship.
I am a boy aged 19 and I go by the name,Elias Umali. I am a Malawian, born and bred in Zomba by a single mother. I completed my Malawi School Certificate of Education at Masongola Secondary School in 2018 and started at Malawi College of Accountancy in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Financial Services Management.
My dream has always been to work in banking/financial industry, but for this goal to be achieved there was need for financial support since my mother alone couldn't raise money to pay for my school fees and for my siblings.
Your scholarship has lightened my financial burdens which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school.
I am part of ZIKOMO family now and It really means a lot to me and at the end I am determined to make the most out of this scholarship.

ich möchte die Gelegenheit nutzen und mich aufrichtig beim Verein ZIKOMO und seinen stolzen Mitgliedern und Spendern bedanken, die mir die Möglichkeit geben, meine Ziele bezüglich meiner Ausbildung zu erreichen. Dies ist möglich, da ich nun das ZIKOMO Stipendium bekomme.
Ich heiße Elias Umali und bin 19 Jahre alt. Ich bin geboren und aufgewachsen in Zomba und von meiner alleineerziehenden Mutter großgezogen worden. Ich machte meine Matura an der Masongola Secondary School 2018 und begann mein Studium am Malawi College of Accountancy 2019. Ich studiere Banking and Financial Services Management (Bank und Finanzmanagement) im Bachelor.
Mein Traum war schon immer im Finanz- und Banksektor zu arbeiten. Allerdings benötige ich hierfür die Unterstützung von ZIKOMO, da meine Mutter meine Studiengebühren nicht bezahlen kann. Sie muss nicht nur mich, sondern auch meine Geschwister unterstützen.
Eure Unterstützung hat mir meine finanzielle Last erleichtert und ermöglicht es mir, mich besser auf mein Studium zu konzentrieren.
Ich bin nun ein Teil der ZIKOMO Familie. Das bedeutet mir sehr viel. Ich bin entschlossen diese Chance bestmöglich zu nutzen.
