I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the ZIKOMO scholarship possible. I'm so thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor, I deeply appreciate your support.

My name is Suwilanji Nambaya and I am a 17 year old Zambian girl and I am a student at the University of Zambia (UNZA) here in Zambia. I am able to do wonders when given a chance. Sometimes appearing shy to outsiders, but very committed, trustworthy, reliable and disciplined
in whatever I do. I am very much confident that I will make a good doctor with my commitment and willingness in helping others. The satisfaction of becoming a physician is indescribable in my life.

I'm so motivated in many areas of life: have been inspired to study medicine by the love for science and math, combined with the wish to finding good solutions and reaching out to help people. I'm hard working and passionate for my study of medicine. My goal has been motivated and inspired by my late father and friends. This has reflected in my good grades from high school to the University.

Another reason for wanting to study medicine has been the experience with my dad's death. When he had an asthmatic attack, there was only one trained doctor at the hospital who had to attend to so many patients. I want to contribute to the country's health by becoming a doctor to reduce such instances in the future and save people's lives.

By awarding me the ZIKOMO scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity has inspired me to work harder and eventually give something back to the community, as a Doctor and possibly help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me.

Thank you again for your generosity and support.
