This is Velepi's letter to ZIKOMO and donors:

Dear Association ZIKOMO,

I am writing to thank you for your generous ZIKOMO Association scholarship. I am short for words and I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as the recipient of your scholarship.

I am currently studying a Bachelors of Accounting and Finance Degree at the University of Zambia Main Campus and I plan on advancing my career onwards. After graduating from the University of Zambia I plan to work as Financial Analyst / Accountant / Economist and impact young lives who are planning to pursue the same course of study especially as a girl child.

Thanks to you, I am one step closer to that goal. Since childhood I have always fend for myself paying school fees alone trying to make ends meet and life has really been tough all the way but I refused to give up until I met ZIKOMO Association. This is now my home and my dream come true.
By awarding me the ZIKOMO Sponsorship, you have lightened my financial burden, which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school: learning. I was ever worried now I am so so happy.

Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me.
Thank you again for your generosity and support. I promise you I will work very hard and eventually give back to others, both as a Financial Analyst / Accountant / Economist and possibly a scholarship to future students like myself.
